Loved the way SPITFIRE ran on debut. He finished 2nd in a similar race and that experience is invaluable. Certain to strip fitter here and drawn to get the run of the race. Have in your numbers.
He was huge odds last start but they decided to send him to the front and CABOTEUR nearly kept it going to the line. In the end he was 2nd. That will give him enormous confidence. Fitter now and looms large.
This filly BAY OF KIEL may be handy. She resumed from a spell with a gutsy 4th over 1615m. That was her 2nd start. Her other start was down the track over 1150m. Might shock. Must be included.
Tip: SPITFIRE
This draw gives AIR COMMAND a great chance. He’s getting better every run and should dash home late here. Is having just 3rd start.Watch market.
DEVIL’S THROAT was 4th in the same type of race on debut last start. With that under his belt he should make a race of this. It’s his home track too. Â Looks ready to run boldly.
SIR CRACKLE has been disappointing but is very fast. Having 3rd start here so probably is fitter and can hang on longer. Big danger.
Tip: AIR COMMAND
FLYING SQUAD looks to be an improving type. Has raced twice and both times have been strong runs, finishing the race off to place. Slightly longer trip here suits and has a fitness edge. So on that score she has claims.
RINGAROSA sat back near last on debut here until straightening then at huge odds ripped down the outside to run a close and fast-finishing 2nd. Looks to have a lot of talent at this level. Â Watch market.
TRIFACCIA may be the best, certainly is one of the best, 3YOs in the land. Should win.
Tip: TRIFACCIA
Interesting race. This topple MAJOR ARTIE may be thrown in here. On his home track and is 4th up after a stirring run in better grade last start when leading and ending up 3rd. Should give your money a great ride.
KUTAYHA is racing in career best form. This very grade and trip, at this track, he sat back midfield and charged late to win drawing clear. Is up 2kg but is very fit.
YUKON will get back and run on. Is 4th up and is ready to pounce. Good 4th at this level this start. Â This should suit more.
Tip: MAJOR ARTIE
These are tough races. Different winners every week. YIYI may make an exception to that though. He is going for three on the bounce and has looked extremely promising winning past two. If he runs like that again he can be in the finish.
OFF SHAW is getting close to a win. Has had 3 runs this time up and has needed to get fit as he is much better placed at this trip. Hit line usefully last start to just miss a place. Respect.
CRAZY WOLF is relatively lightly raced but last start at his 4th race appearance he stormed home to win a provincial maiden. Can place. Is very fit.
Tip: YIYI
This South Australian mare ICECRUSHER is racing in superb touch. She likes to get back and run on hard late. Did that at Morhetville in a BM 68 to win comfortably then up to BM 76 class and did the same, but was beaten a neck. This being a BM 72 she looks well in. And has Hughie to ride.
CENTIMENTAL Â Extremely well backed overnight. Finishe hard after being well ridden last start to land a BM 72 with 72kg here just a few days ago. Suited by the quick backup and should handle the 2kg weight rise.
ARCTIC THUNDER is a good mare at this level. Ran home gamely in a Midway last start when 2nd and is suited here too.
Tip: ICECRUSHER
He mixes his form, classic example was last start when he was weak in the run home. But can turn it around so WANDER has claims. Is very fit and inside draw is a huge help. Watch betting.
NAGS TO RICHES is very smart when fresh and Jay Mac rides here while resuming. Money has come in too. Can win.
COCO CUBER is 3rd up now, on home track and both starts this time up have been useful. Should receive a great run throughout. Â Drawn well and looms large.
