Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at every runner in Saturday’s  $2m Magic Millions Classic for 2YOs with horse racing tips for the first four. Read on to see how he maps the hectic scamper. Good luck!

1. MISHANI RENEGADE (1) 111×2

T: Les Ross / J: Ben Thompson  (57kg)

SCRATCHED

2. SOVEREIGN FUND (17) 11

T: Team Snowden / J: Jamie Kah (57kg)

Rising star on the way up. Looks the best horse in this field from his two race starts to date. But this draw may test him a bit. If he can get out of say find the coveted one, one spot, he should over power them and win. Is very adaptable and very smart.

3. SUNSOURCE  (2) 13

T: Trent Busuttin & Nat Young / J: Mark Zahra (57kg)

Pretty good run hitting the line hard when 2nd up and 3rd to Sovereign Fund last start. Is a Victorian who dazzled with his power finish to win on debut but looked lost last start. If he adapts here he can be in the finish.

4. EMPIRE OF JAPAN (11) 1×3

T: Team Snowden / J: James McDonald  (57kg)

Big, big danger as he is ready to fire up now. Has been the benchmark baby ever since his impressive debut Breeders’ Plate win but last start when resuming he hit the line only fairly when 3rd to Fire Lane. This is harder but reports are he has improved.

5. ROYAL ENTRANCE  (9) 11

T: Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott / J: Tim Clark (57kg)

Is very fast and showed a dazzling clean set of heels last week when leading all the way here in strong lead up race. This is harder and there will be a great amount of pace on but he is rock solid and is tough. Should run boldly.

6. GODFATHER  (20) 14

T:  Team Snowden  J: Ben Melham (57kg)

Has talent and led all way to win Listed race on debut at Eagle Farm but was outclassed when 4th to Fire Lane last start and has drawn the car park here which will not suit at all.

7. CHRYSAOR (13) 414

T: Chris Waller /J: James Orman (57kg)

Tough horse who will be big odds but does have finishing power and should be behind the speed smoking his pipe until they turn. If he gets a clear run he can finish this off. Place show for sure.

8. INFATUATION (8) 5251

T: Bjorn Baker / J: Rachel King  (55kg)

Likes to sit off the pace and earned her start here with a really gutsy win at Randwick last start. Up in class here and when last tested at stakes level was 5th to Sovereign Fund. Is very fit and should receive a pleasant run.

9. FIRE LANE  (15) 141

T:  Brad Widdup / J: Jay Ford (55kg)

Is the dark horse here simply because she has a lot of talent and beat up two of the juvenile powerhouses last start. Can’t understand her price as she hits the line hard and is very, very fit. Have in your numbers.

10. PLATINUM JUBILEE (7) 1×2

T: Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott / J: Regan Bayliss  (55kg)

Looks the one they all have to beat. Ridden back near the rear when a stunning debut winner of the Gimcrack, then spelled. Resumed last start and was sent straight to the lead, looked winner at the 200m but was nabbed on the post by Fire Lane. Is much fitter now. Hope they take a hold here and let her dash late.

11. CROATIAN BELLE  (12) 11

T: Team Hayes /J: Michael Dee (55kg)

Seems to be getting better with racing. Isn’t beaten yet in two starts, both city wins. Going reverse way here and on a big track in a much tougher grade but has talent so should be in the fray.

12. SUMMER LOVING (10) 33

T: Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott /  J: Brenton Avdulla (55kg)

Maiden galloper still after two starts but is ticking along nicely and is a definite threat here. Likes to find her legs and run on. Is very fit now. Won a recent trial here in impressive fashion. Keep an eye on her.

13. SKIRT THE LAW (4) 11

T: Tony Gollen / J: Ryan Maloney (55kg)

Lots of speed and is going to be a disruptor here as she is unbeaten in two easier races but has won them easily and by leading at a very fast clip from gate rise. Latest this trip. Recently won a barrier trial too. Might lead these and set a very fast tempo.

14. MISS COOTA  (18) 11×5

T: Justin Huxtable / J: Chris Munce (55kg)

Is very interesting. Won her first two starts before Christmas by massive margins and looked frighteningly good. Spelled and resumed in $250,00 Gr 3 last start. And was beaten 2 lengths by The Novelist and Excel D’or as odds on pop. Was it an anomaly or is she just not as good as we thought? Have in your numbers.

15. EXCEL D’OR (21) 323

T: Annabel Neasham /  J: Brodie Loy (55kg)

Good filly who has placed in all 3 race starts to date including a fading 3rd here last week. The trip seems to be her issue at this level. And the draw is horrid.

16. EMPRESS OF WONDER (16) 22

T: Annabel Neasham / J: Chad Schofield  (55kg)

Another maiden galloper from two starts to date but she has enormous talent. Likes to find her feet and both runs have been placings at stakes level and both over 1000m. Is going to love the extra 200m here. Look for her late as she is very strong.

17. RISKY INVESTMENT  (6) 1544

T: Ryan Tyrell & Tom Button / J: – (57kg)

Has talent but isn’t up to this level and should get beaten comfortably.

18. SHE’S A ROGUE (19) 23×18

T: Chris Munce / J: Martin Harley  (55kg)

Pretty smart, and after a couple of placings won maiden comfortably at Eagle Farm. Up in class last start and never a threat here last week. This is too hard.

 19. QUASIMOTO (3) 325

T: Clint Lundholm/ J: –  (57kg)

Bush horse from NSW with talent. Doesn’t know how good he is just yet as he is gangly but he can run. Will be huge odds here if he gains a start but has finishing power and could place at any old price.

20. TRIFLING (5) 4522

T: Helen Page / J: – (55kg)

Nice honest filly who is still a maiden but has talent. Probably doesn’t get a run here but if she does, this draw suits and she does have finishing power. Will be huge odds though.

21. OOVII (14) 1

T: Jaren Wehlow / J: –  (57kg)
