Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at every runner in Wednesday’s Group 1  Caulfield Thousand Guineas with horse racing tips for the first four. Read on to see how he maps – he has included the potential fora damp track in his thoughts. Good luck!

1. RUSSIAN CONQUEST (1) 11240×74

T: Team Snowden /J: Jamie Kah (56kg)

This filly is all class and has her foot on the till. Probably sits up in about 4th on the rails with cover to the bend then charges home. Respect her. Is 3rd up.

2. REVOLUTIONARY MISS (10) 22120×057

T: Team Snowden /  J: Mark Zahra (56kg)

Is ready. Hasn’t shown up this prep in the manner she did last campaign but she has had a few starts now and so is super fit. Drops to the rear I imagine to get cover but can finish her races off when she wants to.

3. SHE’S LICKETYSPLIT (5) 117×131

T: Andrew Forsman / J: Damian Lane (56kg)

Kiwi filly with loads and loads of talent. Came here and ran a game, even race on a heavy track when 3rd to Boogie Dancer over 1400 but gave her 3kg,  then came out and sat just off speed before stretching out beautifully to win the Gr 2 Manifold this trip. Is going to take a lot of beating.

4. BOOGIE DANCER (6) 511161

T: Peter Moody / J: Luke Nolan (56kg)

Classy galloper who is suited this trip. Loves it wet and can really rally late. As she did last start when easily accounting for some of these in the 1400m Gr 2 Tranquil Star. Races like she will love a mile. Big danger.

5. NORTH STAR LASS (2) 15×3143

T: Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott / J: Tim Clark (56kg)

Classy filly and she brings a whole new set of form lines to this event. Is tough and super fit. What she has in her favour is the ability to lead and lead them at a fast clip. Will kick off the bend and will be there at the end.

6. WALTZ ON BY (3) 429×611

T: Peter Moody / J: Craig Williams (56kg)

Interesting galloper. Didn’t do a great deal for her first 4 starts then easily won a lowly BM 64 at Sandown before being too tough late and claiming the Listed Moloney over 1400m beating Jenny Jerome narrowly. This is harder still but has claim.

7. MADAME POMMERY (4) 6x12x526

T: Chris Waller /J: James McDonald (56kg)

Gifted Sydney filly who has been crying out for a dry track. Can really rattle home and did that when narrowly beaten in the Gr 2 Tea Rose at Randwick over 1400m. Is very fit and is a knockout hope for sure.

8. MOKO (11) 3x8622x27

T: Team Freedman /  J: Ben Melham (56kg)

Maiden galloper with ability but should get rolled here.

9. JENNY JEROME (9) 221×82

T: Patrick Payne / J: Harry Coffey (56kg)

Gets back and can run on. Is the little sister of the million dollar earner Cherry Tortoni and last start at huge odds she flashed home from 11th on the bend to grab the closest of 2nds to Waltz On By in a listed race. This is harder though.

10. TAJNEED (8) 13

T: Team Snowden / J: Damien Oliver (56kg)

Classy galloper in the making and does command respect. Raced only twice but it was her 3rd placing last start in the 1600m Gr 2 Manifold at Flemington that stamped her a star of the future. Beaten less than a length. This is harder but she is on a vast improvement curve.

11. SHE’S PRETTY RICH (7) 4x9x180

T: Matt Brown / J: Brian Higgins (56kg)
