Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Wednesday’s Gosford meeting with horse racing tips and analysis for all 7 races on the card. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Heavy 8

Rail Position: True, entire circuit

That one run under a belt is essential in these types of events and TWILIGHT AFFAIR has had one. She led until right near home and ended up 2nd at Kembla in this grade. Watch market but she appeals the most.

ABUELA resumes here but showed talent last campaign in both her starts where she placed on both occasions. Just two starts into his career but can run a drum.

SILICA SAND just doesn’t ever seem to get the job done but is talented enough to be right there at the end and has placed many times this grade to date.

LEGEND RULES resumes here after 4 useful runs in first prep. Did place once at this grade and probably has improved this time up. Likes to run near speed and this track suits that.

VENGEFUL is unraced but is very, very fast and won a trial recently by a furlong without even trying. May be a star.

HAMAKI placed 2 of his past 3 starts and is ready to show up in this. Should strip a better proposition now. Is 3rd up so is ready to fire.

It will be very interesting to see if TWICE ON SUNDAY can repeat the very strong effort last start when winning this grade 2nd up. Drawn well and gets a helpful 2kg claim.

REJOICED is interesting. He gets a welcome 3kg claim here as he tries to add to his unbeaten provincial record. Likes to get on the speed and hang tough. Going for 3 straight here but up to a mile may just test.

If we like Rejoiced here we love CANBYA too. Having just her 3rd run she ran him to half a length last start over 1400m and her pedigree supports her liking this journey even more. Improving every start. Both the above horses like to lead so pace will be strong.

Tough race this with about 1000 chances. The good draw and a recent t return to best form make TUDOR MUSIC a big show. He gets a 3kg claim to help also and his 2nd in this class last start was very solid.

TELLURIDE has been helped by all the scratchings as she isn’t so deep now. And being 2nd up she can improve on her good 4th in slightly tougher race when resuming. Has class and can run on.

BENGALLA BAY is a genuinely fast horse at this level and he will be again today. Drawn well so dashes to the front and may keep going in the mud this time.  And, is consistent.

Been a fair while since DICKIN MEDAL showed anything worthwhile but when resuming last start there was a glimmer of desire shown when a battling 7th. Fitter now and drawn perfectly. Place show at odds.

KIBOSH is 2nd up here after yet another terrific effort when 2nd at this level. Does not know how to run a bad race and just tries hard on the top end every run. Should again here.

NEVER SECOND boasts a similar record in regards to consistency and has been well backed.

BEND THE KNEE won at this Listed level last start at Flemington coming with a barnstorming finish making it 2 from 3 this time up. Appears to have great potential and should be flashing home late here also.

BACCHANALIA is developing into a very smart horse and he looks suited to this. Has won past two, one on a heavy track, by just chiming in when needed. Beat some useful ones last start at BM 72 level and looks perfectly suited to this contest.

BROKEN HILL is up a long, long way in grade but the way he accelerated to storm away and claim his maiden last start says he might be a Black Type horse. So deserves his shot at this grade. Big show.

Tough race but may go according to script. EXPAT will probably lead and her best shot is if she is left alone on the speed. Did win handsomely first-up then run over in Melbourne next start. Back here and nicely placed.

BROOKSPIRE has come back in super fashion and just might be headed to higher stakes glory. Sat wide yet still too good 2nd up last start and should be fitter. Drawn near the fence this time and it isn’t much harder. Big, big show if she gets out.

MAJELLA is handy and in form. Can be on speed for a fair way here.
