Goulburn R1 – Open Mdn Hcp 1600m
RAZMENT has been backed overnight which is always a good sign. BHUTAN will be about $30 and should go close to placing but I think MOREMI can finish over the top of them all. Jeff Penza rides and he is in great form. I think this filly is too. She resumed at Muswellbrook in tough maiden over 1400m on a very heavy track last start yet she flashed home, on the worse part of the track to be beaten a head. Prior to that had run a series of placings in this grade. Box all three up for a good quinella result too.

Goulburn R4 – BM58 (F&M) Hcp 1300m
This looks a good betting race. A few hopes will attract money but I must say I love horses coming back in grade and we find one here in SNOWBELLA. After winning this class easily she went to town for a Highway over 1500m and plodded last 150m to be beaten 6 lengths. Gets the benefit of a 4kg claim here and is down in class. Much better suited to this journey as well. Super fit also. The claim makes her a near weighted special. ITA is resuming but handy. Quinella them.

Lismore R7 – BM58 Hcp 1200m
I think Toowoomba form is slightly stronger than Lismore form so on that scale I’m on JETT AUSTIN in this. He’s pretty quick early so off this perfect inside draw I see him darting through to take the nearly lead. And he’s tough too. Last start, when resuming at Toowoomba, he’d led until his condition gave out near home placing 2nd in a BM 60. Down, in my opinion, about 5 lengths in grade and should strip fitter.
