Track Condition: Good 4

Rail Position:  True entire

Sometimes you just can’t help but find a horse who is ready and so deserving of a win. In this race we have one called HONOUR THE LEGEND. Top bush trainer Mitch Beer, who has been in sparkling form over the past six weeks, has this bloke, a former Sydney trained galloper absolutely flying. At his past three runs for instance, he was 4th here on a wet track when racing for the first time for his new trainer. Then was a strong finishing 2nd at this level, followed by a close-up 2nd behind his much more fancied stablemate. BANGALEE MIST has talent to0.  Quinella them up.

Good contest coming up. This bloke ZAKERIZ is absolutely low flying of late comfortably winning 3 of his past 4 starts. And in two of those races he beat up on NEICES AND NEPHEWS. They clash here again. What makes it intriguing today is that when Zac beat him by a length a month ago there was 1kg weight difference. He then beat him in fast time by just over a length when carrying 3.5kg more. Well, today, he has to lug 6kg more and that makes this a very even contest. Quinella them but I think Zac runs 2nd this time.

I like last start failure CRYSTAL WATERS in this. She is down from Kembla and looks well placed. After winning a pair of bush races in lower grade she was taken to the city and for reasons I can’t understand, was ridden completely upside down. She wouldn’t have know if she was Martha or Arthur and as a result she wilted over the last 100m finishing last. Down in class here, well drawn and if she sits back about 5th to the bend, she will finish over the top of these.
