Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews today’s Moruya meetings, with horse racing tips and analysis for 3 races. Good luck, punters!

Track: Heavy 8

This is an interesting affair and worth watching the betting moves. Overnight, before the rain came, there was a stack of money for two different horses – the recently relocated CONSTANTINOU and the untried ATMOSPHERIC ROCK. The former is up from Victoria and now with Nat Jarvis who lands plenty of winners. The latter is trained by Shelby Sixty-six’ mentor, Danny Williams, and his trial win in mud up to his hocks was very impressive. I suggest both will fight this out but I lean toward the new boy Atmospheric Rock simply because I watched him plough through the mud and look strong in doing so. Quinella them up.

Tip: ATMOSPHERIC ROCK

Again, wet track form is what I’m seeking at this meet and the very last time EPAULLO CREED raced on a heavy 8 like today, he ran a terrific 2nd in this grade over the unsuitable 1150m. Fitter now, out to his preferred trip and he is 3rd up so I think he looks prime and ready. The short-priced favourite is SWEET BISCUIT and she is honest and consistent placing at four of her five starts to date, all at this level. She has also placed on a heavy but has been a short priced fav at three of past four starts and been beaten. Quinella them.

Tip: EPAULLO CREED

Again, like the above two races, I think there is only two hopes here. The toppie GET SHAFTED who looks to have finishing power and is 2nd up after a great 3td this grade when resuming. And the unbeaten JUST GO BANG who did just that after being very heavily backed on debut to easily win bush maiden. Is up in class here but I suspect that money and the power shown to win means there is a lot of talent here. Quinella them.

Tip: JUST GO BANG
