Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Wednesday’s meetings, with horse racing tips and analysis for the five best bets of the day. Good luck, punters!

I like the way this filly WAIKIKI hits the line. She resumes here and under Kathy O’Hara she seems to run her best. Was placed on debut for Kath, then in a trial recently, she hit the line well when 2nd, again with Kath in the saddle. Probably sits back here but seems forward and she finishes hard so gets the nod today. EXSENSISBLE is in form and can grab the quinella.

Tip: WAIKIKI

I do like the look of this little apprentices race. I really think Mark Newnham’s import, TARAASHOQ is ready to win. He should go hard from gate rise, find the lead in the early stages, stay, there, ramping things up as they get to the 600m and be too far in front as they turn for them to run him down. He is 3rd up today with Tyler Schiller, who is riding lights out at present, on top. KNIFE’S EDGE can rattle home into 2nd.

Tip: TARAASHOQ

Got to like the way this filly PAMPUNI hit the wire at Pakenham last start on debut. Ran 3rd and they backed her too. I suspect she has improved a lot following that experience and this long stretch will suit her running style. THREE GRACES resumes here and can bob for 2nd.

Tip: PAMPUNI

Tough old race but the mapping favours one at big odds here. It is SKYMAX. I see him jumping well and going straight to the front here. He is very fit and at big odds expect him to control the pace, kick on the turn and then pray he has enough left to hold out BAK DA MAN late. Will be close.

Tip: SKYMAX

Interesting race. I like the Ciaron Maher and Dave Eustace trained mare WHATAFOX in this. She is 3rd up here and has always shown she is talented this level and more than that, very consistent. Gets in well here at the weights with Celine Gaudray’s 3kg allowance. Should be in top 5 all the way and show too much dash late. THINK I’M FAMOUS for 2nd.

Tip: WHATAFOX
