Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Wednesday’s midweek meetings, with horse racing tips and analysis for the five best bets of the day. Good luck, punters!
Warwick Farm R3 – Mdn Hcp (2YO + 3YO) 1200m
Interesting race Chris Waller has a well performed and highly fancied runner in the race named OUTSIDER who has placed in this grade at all three race starts, yet his number one stable rider James McDonald is riding an unraced galloper from another stable called SIGLO DE ORO. That to me strongly indicates it has enough ability to win this on debut. Quinella them. Big show.
Tip: SIGLO DE ORO
Warwick Farm R4 – BM64 (3YO+ females) 1300m
Fascinating affair. I really do like horses coming back in class and ANAGAIN is that mare here. She resumed from a spell in this company and was a hard finishing 2nd on a bog track where nothing made ground, then backed up last start in a stronger graded race and ran 3rd, Is super fit now, back to BM 72 and looks the winner.
Tip: ANAGAIN
Doomben R5 – BM70 Hcp (3YO +) 1650m
STARZAM should be super fit now. Did run 3rd this grade two runs back and from this gate with this 3kg allowance probably scoots across to find the front. If not pressured I suggest that fitness will kick in and he gets the prize from OUR REBEL who is 2nd up and should run on well.
Tip: STARZAM
Doomben R6 – Cl 1 Hcp 1650m
Ok, here we go again. A horse of talent coming back in class. BROOKHAVEN was beaten 6 lengths in a Gr 3 race last start and the run before that, was 1 length behind winner in Gr 2 race. Should win. PURVEYOR is on the way up and can run on. Quinella them. Bound to be right in the finish.
Tip: BROOKHAVEN
Warwick Farm R6 – BM72 Hcp 1600m
This bloke IMRAHOR with the Annabel Neasham yard is pretty smart and he showed that first up at this level last start when he simply out-kicked them after leading to the bend. Should strip fitter here and with the 3kg claim he looms very large again. This is harder but he is on the rise.
