Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Wednesday’s meetings, with horse racing tips and analysis for the five best bets of the day. Good luck, punters!

This will be interesting. I do have a fair bit of time for this Gary Portelli filly KIMOCHI. If there is confidence for her in the market I suggest you follow it. Gary was preparing her for all those multi million dollar races before she was injured late last year. Back and beaming now. This unbeaten CAPTAIN AMELIA is solid too and I say let’s quinella them up.

Tip: KIMOCHI

Fascinating affair. You just had to appreciate the way HIMALAISM attacked the line this grade last start. He wound up 2nd and should win off that effort here. But he is building a record of placings and getting near the gunna stage. Probably put him there if he fails today.

Tip: HIMALAISM

Gotta love a mare in form and ELVEENA comes into this as that mare. Nice win in stronger grade last start when 2nd up. So strips fitter here and drops in class. Has been hammered with the weight increase, which is appeased a bit by the 3kg offset by the apprentice. Just looks perfectly placed. Big show.

Tip: ELVEENA

I did like the way Ciaron Maher and Dave Eustace’s horse MAYFAIR SPIRIT raced last start when resuming from a spell. He ran a strong 4th and will strip considerably fitter here. He does boast a rather impressive 2nd up record so with the weight allowance appears a good wager. BON VIVANT can lob for 2nd.

Tip: MAYFAIR SPIRIT

When in doubt back the toppie with a claim. And IRISH BUTTERFLY ticks that box here. Is racing really well at present also winning this company two starts back and solid 4th last start. Gets in here with a 3kg claim and is super fit. Wins for mine from the hurdler ROCKSTAR RONNIE who is looking for this trip.
