Warwick Farm R1 – Mdn (3YO C&G) Hcp 1400m
Now that STEP ASIDE has well, stepped aside and been scratched it opens the door for Team Snowden’s 3YO THE ENGLISHMAN to land the cash here. He resumes after a great debut race and two recent trials. Will be flying home.
Tip: THE ENGLISHMAN
Sandown R1 – Class 1 Hcp (3YO+) 1400m
There has been quite the considerable move overnight for this unbeaten runner NUNTHORPE who is trained by Peter Moody. Jamie Kah rides and the money just keeps piling in. Get on early. If you can secure $1.95 or better, bet up.
Tip: NUNTHORPE
Warwick Farm R4- BM72 (3YO+) 1600m
Plenty of speed in this from the mare CHENIN and I think that will do the trick. She was outclassed at stakes level last start but back to a grade where she is allowed to dictate on her own and that will turn her on. The interesting runner is the Irish import CLAIM THE CROWN. He looked slow in his recent trials. First run in Australia here but has placed at stakes level so watch market.
Tip: CHENIN
Sandown R4 – BM64 Hcp 2100m
I just love a horse 3rd up who showed something when resuming and this mare HARD SQUEEZE fits that bill. Was 3rd in slightly stronger race when resuming then last start got too far back before rattling home for 4th. Should sit a pair closer this time and being fitter just looks to sprout wings late and win from WATER INTO WINE who is consistent.
Tip: HARD SQUEEZE
Warwick Farm R7 – BM72 (3YO +) Hcp 1200m
Interesting race. I do think this lightly raced local hope THINK ABOUT IT may be Saturday grade. He resumes here after three starts where he showed good finishing power. Off this draw he probably gets back to be about 5th on the fence then should come, if he gets clear, with a powerful burst.
