CASH AWAY looks the one to beat in this affair with Pike jumping back on board. Has been around the mark in all his runs this campaign and seems to be bursting to win one.
The small field will be in his favour as he usually gets back in the pack but if he is within range on the corner, should be able to pick them up down the straight.

Do like the look of LONG BEACH here at juicy odds. The favorite will be How’s The Serenity and will be trucking along out in front.
Hopefully the pace will be on and she will have company in the run and that brings our boy right into this contest. He will be sitting behind the speed and look for him to be very strong late.

Does look the quinella of the day here with the smart mare in Forbidden Love taking on the up and coming colt in Golden Mile. I’m sticking with the 5yo mare in FORBIDDEN LOVE to dictate the terms up on speed, whereas the colt will be coming from behind.
She was super impressive in a recent Randwick trial win, winning with her head on her chest and she will only be fitter for this first up assignment.

Sunshine Coast Race 8 – Sunshine Coast Cup 1400m

A very open race here, so playing one at odds in SIR ROCKET. This boy has finished just behind the placegetters in all his 3 outings this time in, against much superior opposition than he meets here.
Look for him to drop out early and be the one sneaking. through gaps down the wide open spaces of the Sunny Coast straight and grabbing the cash.

SNAPPER should be the testing material here. Was very impressive in his Standish Stakes win last time out at Flemington. He has won 4 times over track and distance so the tricky Valley circuit will not be an issue.
Should strip even fitter this time out being 3rd up fthis time in so and can’t really find a reason to suggest he won’t be adding to that tally again today..
