Form analyst, SCOTT MCDONELL, previews Saturday’s meetings, with horse racing tips and analysis for the five best bets of the weekend. Good luck, punters!
Hard to go past the in form ALLIGATOR BLOOD. This old boy just keeps fighting them off and winning. Meeting similar opposition again as he struck in the Futurity under weight for age conditions, it’s hard not to pick him.
Blake Shinn should be able to find the front or sit outside them and dictate from there. Jump on the Gator again.

AMENABLE ran a ripper in the Australian Guineas finishing just on the placegetters tails in a race where there was plenty of interference in the straight and was able to pick himself up to still run on late.
This lightly raced colt is now third up in his preparation and looks to be screaming out for the trip. Should be hard to beat.

Tipping the three-year-old filly BABY PARIS to win first up from a spell. Won a trial with ease leading into this and she seems to be ready for her return to the track. Although she has drawn a tricky gate, she does have plenty of natural ability and can be ridden on pace or from behind, as she did running 2nd to Amelia’s Jewel in the Karrakatta Plate as a 2yo.
Look for her to be there at the business end.

Even though she’s drawn off the track, it’s hard not to tip ISOTOPE on top. This five-year-old mare looks classes above the opposition and only has to carry 56kg.
She has impressive first up stats (6:3-1-0) and this race looks a great kick off leading into bigger assignments on the radar.

TRIFLING at a nice each way price gets my interest here. At her last start four weeks ago, she sat in behind the speed and showed she has plenty of strength in the run home, gradually pulling clear for an easy win.
Likely to get another fast run race here and drawn to get a drag into the race again. She will be strong late so watch for her late.
