- FLEMINGTON - RACE 6
- (1200M)
- November 11, 2023
1. Front Page (7)
It’s nearly impossible to imagine a 7YO bush horse being a Gr 1 threat against a champion but this bloke is flying and loves this journey. Ran super slick time under 59kg to easily win the Kosciusko at Randwick last start leading all the way. Expect a bold showing.

2. Buenos Noches (11)
Is the type of horse who can cause an upset. Likes this track and loves this trip. Beaten 3 lengths in The Everest in world class time. Is very fit and runs on.

Track Talent
3. Lofty Strike (4)
Is 2nd up here and has a good 2nd up record. Unlucky in weaker race last start but last prep did run 2nd to In Secret in the Gr 1 Newmarket here this trip in fast time. If he brings that form he can run home into a placing. Against him is the fact he’s raced 6 times this trip and NEVER won this distance.

Likes Dry Track
4. Star Patrol (6)
Is very consistent and can run strong times. On top of that has won 4 sprint races this track which is a very big tick. Does finish hard as he did last start in Gr 2 here last start in good time. This is much harder but will be whacking away late for a minor spot.

Track Talent
5. Airman (10)
Rising star who after 8 starts has 5 wins and a couple of placings to his credit. Is very talented and can finish off hard. BUT – he is up to Gr 1 racing for the first time here and will be tested by these superstar mares. This time next year he may well be among the best of them.

Proven Winner
6. Bella Nipotina (1)
Brilliant and in form mare who was a giant-killer last start when she finished like a train to knock off two of the best sprinters in the land in Private Eye and the superstar Think About It over 1300m in $3m race. Coming back 100m here and up against another champion but her performances this campaign give her an almighty chance.

7. In Secret (5)
Brilliant mare who is a Gr 1 winner at this track and has the wheels to test this superstar. Was responsible for an almighty and unlucky run in The Everest which was run in amazingly fast time when 4th beaten a length. Her last 600m was astonishing. Loves this track and wiull be running home.

Track Talent
8. Imperatriz (8)
Is racing as if she is the Winx of sprinting. This campaign alone she has easily beaten Asfoora, Bella Nipotina, Giga Kick, Uncommon James – all of whom are stars. Can lead like she did last start to win the Gr 1 Manikato by a big space or come from last on the bend. Looks invincible.

Proven Winner
9. Espiona (3)
Top class Gr 1 winning mare. After running good time to win 1400m Gr 2 at Rosehill, took on The Everest field and was unlucky, beaten just over 2 lengths. Showed that with powerful win over 1400m beating Ruthless Dame last start in super fast time. Not at her very best this trip but is unbeaten at this track and will be running on.

Track Talent
10. Asfoora (9)
Is the dark horse here because she is fast and very honest. Went straight to the front and was far too good for Uncommon James in the 1100m Gr 2 Schillaci last start. Way more mid-race pressure here but she is pretty tough and will be in this fight.

11. C'Est Magique (2)
More than handy in her grade but this is NOT her grade. Probably runs last.
