1. Benagil (5)
On her day is top draw and is probably better than these so everyone is still scratching their heads over her inglorious performance behind Philia last start in the Gr 2 Roses over 2000m. Had previously won the Gr 1 Australasian Oaks in good time over 2000m. Worth another chance. May just have been a day trying to get onto the right leg.
2. Philia (16)
Is the pin-up girl at present. Just goes out hard, finds the front and kicks when they turn. Unbeaten in 3 starts on a dry track and last start shot away as they turned in the Gr 2 Roses hanging on to win by nearly a length from Jenni’s Meadow. Many of these finished behind her. Has wet track form too. Looks to lead and will take running down.

3. Movin Out (12)
Just starting to come into her own. Was finishing hard when 5th to Benagil in the Gr 1 A’asian Oaks over 2000m, and came from 16th on the turn with a powerful burst to run 3rd in the Gr 2 Roses last start behind Philia. Prepped perfectly for this and can run home hard.

4. Churchill's Choice (10)
Looms as the dark horse here. Doing best work late when a closing 2nd in the Gr 2 Qld Guineas over a mile then was another in that Gr 2 Roses won by Philia who led all the ay. She bobbed and weaved her way home into 4th. Bigger track will suit her a great deal. Big show.
5. You Wahng (8)
Is smart but does seem to be a length or so behind the very best. Did run on well for 3rd in the Gr 1 ATC Oaks over 2400m, and last start hit line well enough without really challenging when 5th to Philia in the Gr 2 Roses. Place.

6. Jenni's Meadow (1)
Draw may make a big difference here. Drew wide and went right back to near last on a track that suited the leaders last start but rallied late when an eye-catching 2nd to Philia. Was really motoring last 150m. Suited by this big track and is now super fit. Must be in your numbers.

7. Real Class (6)
Talented Gr 2 winning Kiwi who was on speed last start in the Gr 3 Rough Habit on a heavy track last start before weakening to 9th behind Imperialist. Different track here, different opposition, different surface may kick start her. Place at best though on Aussie form.

8. Pinito (11)
Draw here is a little awkward but she ticks every other box perfectly. Is cherry-ripe, seems to thrive at this trip, can handle this grade, is stakes placed already this track and fires on good or wet tracks. Brilliant win coming from near last over 1800m in the Bracelet against 3yo fillies latest outing. Will shake this.

9. Pleasure Artist (3)
Drawn well and should get a good run but isn’t quite up to the better ones which she has proven at past 4 starts.

10. Sweltering (21)
Maiden galloper still after 7 starts but is one of the best maidens in the land. Beaten a nose at Terang in a maiden, then at $201 she stormed home late from well back when 2nd in the Gr 1 Australasian Oaks over 2000m behind Benagil. That run makes her a chance.

11. Let's Fly (4)
Has talent but has been plying her trade against weaker opposition. Mind you, she thrashed a BM 72 field at Randwick last start over 1800m stamping her a classy type. Keep safe.

12. Poster Girl (2)
Handy on her day but has been beaten out of a place at past 3 in the major lead-up races. Not keen.

13. She's A Dealer (14)
Badly drawn so eases early looking for a spot. Has a meteoric rise winning a low key NZ maiden then coming here and running a good 2nd behind Let’s Fly at r’wick in 3yo race. This is harder though.

14. Amplify (7)
Interesting filly. Is in form and very fit. Started long odds on and easily won a Cl 1 at Bathurst over 1800m, then rushed to Qld for the Listed Bracelet and led for home before hanging on for 2nd to Pinito in the mud. This is harder but is improving.

15. Sun Worshipper (23)
Probably goes forward from this gate and may get trapped deep. Beaten 6.6 lengths by Pinito in the Bracelet then beaten 5 lengths by Philia last start. Not keen.

16. Eclair Encore (18)
Talented and tough filly. Hasn’t raced the traditional races leading up to this but has won or placed in all of them. Can stay. Last start closing 2nd at Ipswich over 2180m. Will be big odds but could sneak a place because she is honest.

17. Shangri La Impact (19)
Interesting Sydney filly. Likes to lead and that may be a concern for Philia. On speed when 2000m winner at H’bury in a Cl 1 then led all the way when easy 2100m winner on a heavy track at Goulburn. This is much harder but can stay.

Proven Winner
18. Ella Hazel (20)
Has talent and is in form. Finished hard to win on a heavy track at Kensington last start over 1800m in a BM 64. Big rise in class here but did run 7th in the Gr 1 2400m ATC Oaks. Rough place show.

19. Misting (Em1) (17)
Handy stayer and stablemate of the fav Philia. Won a low key Sunny Coast BM 65 last start over 1800m in the mud. This should test.

20. La Cometa (Em2) (13)
Beaten 7 lengths by Philia in stakes race then went to Sunny Coast in a weak BM 58 over 1800m and scored. This is harder though.

21. Madame Lexis (Em3) (15)
Past 4 starts – 10th, 10th, 9th at stakes level and last start in a BM 65 was 4th. No.

Good on Soft
22. Elivina (Em4) (9)
Probably doesn’t gain a start but is smart and is going to develop into a good racehorse. This does look too soon though.

Ran 2nd at Sunny Coast in a Cl 1 then beaten out of a place, plodding late at Ipswich. No thanks.
