1. Treasurethe Moment (12)
The way this filly hits the line, she just wants to win, and that explains why she has smashed all her rivals with wins at her past three starts. She thrashed Powers Of Opal last start, but as we saw in the Melbourne Cup, you can finish behind a rival in the lead-up races and get beaten in the big dance. But she does look gifted.

Proven Winner
2. Too Darn Discreet (3)
Fast filly who seems to be getting better with racing. Has won her past 3 starts, latest over 2000m in the Gr 3 Ethereal and won it on a soft track from Jenni’s Meadow. Drawn to get a superb run in about 4th spot all the way and that makes her a massive threat.

3. Harlem Queen (5)
Distance is her biggest worry. She has talent and gets home hard normally and is very fit. Probably sits about 5th with cover here and if she has sprint in her legs as they turn she can be in the finish.

4. Rag Queen (4)
This may well be the dark horse. And will be at a big price. has finishing power in her legs and showed that when flashing home from a mile back and 4th in the Gr 3 Gloaming over 1800m. In the Gr 1 Champion Stakes last start she made ground late when beaten 4 lengths behind El Castello. Should settle back but can run all day. Respect her.

5. Powers Of Opal (9)
Won her maiden by 6 lengths with her head on her chest over 1600m then came to Melbourne and was backed into odds-on fav when a fighting 2nd behind Treasurethe Moment. Did get beaten fair and square by nearly 2 lengths. Seems better suited this trip though and rates highly.

6. Pleasure Artist (6)
Certain to be in this finish. Came home like a train from a mile back when 2nd to Swiftfalcon in the 1600m Dulcify before doing similar and 5th in the Gr 1 Champion Stakes. Can she handle this trip? Probably given how she races. Have her in your numbers as she looks like an emerging star.

7. Talisay (8)
Star South Australian filly who really can motor late. Was doing best work when flying home and 3rd to subsequent Gr 1 VRC Derby winner Goldrush Guru over 1800m, then last start got way, way too far back when flying home for 5th to Treasurethe Moment last start over 2000m. Looks to appreciate this trip.

8. Femminile (13)
This is a pretty tough filly. She’s relatively lightly raced at just 5 starts but is already a stakes winner and last start was doing best work late when beaten less than a length in the 2000m Ethereal at Gr 3 level behind Too Darn Discreet. Looks awkwardly drawn so may go forward and find a spot. If she does, she is a player late.

9. Killcare Beachgirl (2)
Good, improving filly who looks likely to lead this field. If left alone in front she may take catching. Showed pace on Saturday when leading into the straight and 3rd to Treasurethe Moment. Trip is the issue late.

10. Noises (11)
Good, tough Sydney filly who was on speed all the way until wilting final 100m and running 8th to El Castello in Gr 1 last start. Distance does seem the concern here and may struggle late.

11. Hurry Curry (7)
Good filly who should develop into a real staying star. But, this may be a campaign too soon. Did win impressively in 3YO filly grade over 1800m coming home in good time. Ran on well when beaten just over 2 lengths and 5th to Too Darn Discreet last start in Gr 3 over 2000m. Can sneak a place.

12. Inevitable Truth (1)
Maiden galloper after 6 starts but is very smart and could win this as a maiden. Has run 4th at past 2 starts, both in stakes races, latest when running on well to Treasurethe Moment over 2000m. Looks a died-in-the-wool stayer who runs home hard.

13. Placid Pearl (14)
Raced only 4 times and did win a maiden last start easily at Scone over 2200m. This is much harder but is racing well. Rough place show.

14. All Kinds Of Folk (10)
Maiden after 5 starts and wouldn’t win this with a headstart.
