Gr 1 Vinery Stud Stakes

The consensus is she is about the best staying mare to come from New Zealand in 30 years. Won the Gr 1 NZ Derby by a space last start in very fast time. Looks a cut above everything in her country but is coming back 400m against a cracking field. Should make for a great race.

She has to be considered our best staying 3YO filly and the way she accelerated to win a gr 2 last start over 1500m suggests she is back to her best. Can stay all day and if this Kiwi superstar isn’t as good as they all claim, this filly wins. And, one last thing, she is unbeatable on a a wet track.

Star filly and the way she kept fighting in the Gr 1 Coolmore over 1500m after being deep for a good portion of the race suggests she will get this trip. Is very fit. Has twice placed over a mile at gr 1 level. is consistent and will be right in this finish.

Has to be in this field as she seems to be Victoria’s best filly. Won the Gr 3 Ethereal in the Spring over 2000m and last start finished like a train to claim the Gr 2 Kewney at Flemington over a mile. is bound to be running on here too.

Good filly and has already twice placed at Gr 1 level. Is 3rd up here which makes her a chance as she is very fit. Not far away when 7th to Queen of Dragons in the Gr 3 Kembla Classic over a mile. Better suited this trip but this is a strong field.

Good filly. Probably drives forward as she did last start when too strong in the 1600m Kembla Classic at Gr 3 level. Fitter now too. Should be in this for a long way.

Winner at past three starts and is getting better with racing. They have been in weaker grade however. This is her acid test and should has found a truly brilliant field to see what she’s made of. May struggle.

Nice filly who should develop into a Saturday grade stayer. Gets back and runs on hard. Did that in good time to win maiden last start but this is much harder.
