1. Splash Back (6)
Is perfectly drawn, is in the shape of her life and the track conditions will suit. is, when all is said and done, ready to win. Got a mile back in the Gr 1 Stradbroke on a heavy track yet still picked them off one by one and finished 6th. This is considerably easier.

Good on Soft
2. Abounding (17)
Awkwardly drawn but is the class and she can win this…providing the track is on the better side of slow. Hates it heavy. Is in form and very fit so if the stars align, she is a major player.

3. Manaal (9)
Top class mare who is 2nd up and she boasts a wonderful 2nd up record so she must be in your numbers. Raced home hard when 3rd to Uncommon James when resuming. Is a Gr 1 winner in the mud and is fast on top of the ground too. Big show.

4. Tuileries (3)
Good mare who has always shown talent at up to Gr 2 level and this is her perfect distance range. Is in form too and if she can settle with cover in about 8th spot, she may be a player. Has won 2 of her past 3 starts, at slightly lower level than this but does run home and is honest.

5. Midnight In Tokyo (18)
Unlike some of the others here, this mare loves it wet. Grows a leg, puts on flippers, is Aquaman-like etc. And she runs on pace. Did that last start in the wet to win a stakes race. now, this is a little harder because she has drawn off the track, plus she has never won at this trip. Place show.

Good on Soft
6. Gerringong (13)
In and out type who could bob up. Did place in stakes race last start when making ground late over 1300m, but has never won beyond 1100m. That and the tricky draw are concerns.

7. Super Smink (14)
Interesting mare in the sense she is capable and past two runs in tough lead up races have been useful. Doesn’t mind it wet and when on song, can rocket home. Place.

8. Infancy (12)
Hates it wet. Can run on and has fast times on dry tracks but this should test her.

9. Melody Again (11)
Really strong finishing mare who could win this if all fell into place. Has a brand new trainer so that may spark her. Was 4th last start in Listed Eyeliner over 1350m when 14th for home beaten a length. Keep an eye on her.

Ready to Fire
10. Firestorm (7)
Is very in and out. Can’t say anything more about her. Is capable of winning but only if she wants to run hard.

11. Ahha Ahha (2)
Failed to fire when resuming last start and last prep was getting beaten, albeit narrowly, in weaker events. Not keen.

12. Savagery Vibe (4)
Has been huge odds of late but racing out of her skin of late winning a stakes race and placing in another last start. This is harder but loves it wet.
-
Good on Soft
13. Poster Girl (15)
What a consistent, honest mare. Always tries har5d and races on the pace. Loves it dry but has shown up in the wet too. Is up to this grade and is in form. Must rate highly.

14. Blindedbythelight (1)
Has been doing a lot of travelling and hasn’t been beaten all that far in recent races. Is very fit and can run on but the grade may yest her late.

15. Paradise City (16)
Not won a race since February and that was in a weaker Gr 3 race. Recent runs poor. And drawn badly.

16. Soft Love (8)
Is honest and gets back and runs on. But at the weight scale she is not suited at all.

17. Within The Law (10)
Brings different form here and brings very good form. Nicely weighted, is all class and goes well on wet or dry tracks. Looms as one of the hardest to beat.

18. Bengal Diamond (Em1) (5)
Has talent and generally runs well against these but last start was a flop in easier race. Not really keen.
