1. Another Wil (7)
Class who was a shade disappointing when resuming in tough race last start behind the super mare Treasurethe Moment. Was beaten 6 lengths. Has a great 2nd up record and also boasts a great record at this track. Looks a good bet.

2. Here To Shock (6)
Should go forward and may well be the pace in this race. As we have seen last week, when horses in these Gr 1 events get left alone in front they prove very hard to catch. Is 3rd up here and looms as a danger.

3. Pinstriped (5)
Dual accepter both here and in Sydney. Can run brilliantly at this grade on his day. Fitter following a handy run this level last start and could storm home at big odds late.

Ready to Fire
4. Airman (12)
Moved up to win last week but just couldn’t get there in Gr 2 won by Arkansas Kid. Never won this journey so may struggle late.

Good on Soft
5. Arkansaw Kid (1)
Sat off pace last week in Gr 2 over 1200m and finished hard to win narrowly. Is back in super form and no surprise to see him again finish in this finish. Big threat.

6. Feroce (10)
Smart type who is 2nd up in this following a solid pipe-opener behind Tropicus and Arkansaw Kid over 1100m. Much more at home here and should be right in this finish.

7. Zarastro (11)
Probably goes forward from this gate and sits outside the lead. Not far away when resuming and 4th to Tropicus over 1100m last start. Has run a faster 1200m than all of these and although never won at this trip, did run Joliestar to a nose over 1350. Keep safe.

8. Port Lockroy (3)
Is a Gr 1 winner and has been known to bob up when not expected at this level but looks held this time around.

9. Angel Capital (13)
Awkwardly drawn. Did win 2 from 2 here this trip when last in work but was beaten in Gr 1 here. Since then has changed hands and is now with Chris Waller who trained him up to easily win when resuming last start over 1200m in the Listed Chautauqua over 1200m. Looked like a star that day. This is harder as said, draw doesn’t help, but should be dashing home.

10. Damask Rose (17)
Talented Kiwi mare who has a powerhouse finish on her when right. At Aussie debut last start rocked home from 13th on bend here for 5th to Magic Time over 1200m. Suited by extra ground and looks to run home hard.

11. Another Prophet (15)
Versatile mare who runs home hard but Gr 1 level is her Achilles heal.

12. Is It Me (8)
Interesting runner. Is 3rd up here after 2 unplaced runs, latest behind Treasurethe Moment when beaten 9 lengths. May not have come up this prep but last time in won this trip 3 times, 2 of them in very fast time.

13. Jennilala (2)
Handy mare on her day but isn’t racing well enough to trouble these.

Good on Soft
14. Chorlton Lane (9)
Solid, useful handicapper who goes well this trip. Is 2nd up and may get too far back at this level. Not keen.

15. Miss Roumbini (14)
This is a pretty handy mare and she may be right in this finish at good odds. Raced home well when 2nd to Magic Time last start when resuming. This is harder but she is showing improvement every start. Has won here and in 3 starts is unbeaten 2nd up!

16. Sepals (16)
Boom 4YO who has raced just 6 times for 4 wins. Only Gr 1 race was 4th over 1600m. Unbeaten this trip and track. Went forward last start and may do same here as he has drawn very wide. But, has loads of talent.

Proven Winner
17. Zou Sensation (Em1) (4)
Strong handicapper who won a BM 100 this trip at Flemington then was handy 4th in stakes race won by Angel Capital last start. Place at best.
