Gr 1 – Queen Of The Turf

Sat deep yet still kept coming to just miss in a driving finish to the Gr 1 George Ryder behind Gringotts in fast time. Is super fit, will get a glorious run in this and it isn’t as hard. Looks the one.

Is on the quick backup here following her 2nd x Gr 1 win when too strong late in the Doncaster over a mile. Not sure if this is as strong so she looks a great chance. Will sit back about 4th, can run the trip out, is very fit and in form. Big danger.

Star Gr 1 winning mare who is slowly finding her best form. And, her best form can win this. Was 5th in the Gr 1 All-Star Mile then beaten 2 lengths when looking the winner at the 200m in the Gr 1 Australian Cup. Is a Gr 1 winner over this journey so rates highly.

Is the dark horse here. Beaten a nose by Atishu in the Gr 1 Empire Rose last year this trip. Two runs this time up resulted in an easy win at Gr 2 level in the 1400m Guy Walter then unsuited to the handicap scale but still brave when 6th to Lady Shenandoah in the Gr 1 Coolmore. Comes in well at the weights here and is 3rd up. Big show.

Mixes her form but does like it wet and got a heavy track last start when a brilliant last to first winner of the Gr 2 Emancipation from Lazzura who she meets 1.5kg worse off this time. Will get back and run on.

Seems the only speed in this race and as such will take catching. Rolls along as she did last start in Melbourne when easy winner over this trip of the Gr 2 Sunline. Goes very well on soft ground too and may give these something to chase. Is 3rd up.

Ran the race of her life when beaten a half head by Ceolwulf in the Gr 2 Sellwopod over 2000m. Comes back to WFA here and a mile which will test her.

Has ability but from 13 starts to date has won just 3. Latest run was 2nd in much easier Gr 3 over 1900m. Not keen.

Melbourne mare who gets back and generally runs home well but up against the silk department here. Not keen.

Interesting filly. Is in career best form and should have won the Gr 2 Emancipation last start when 2nd to Lekvarte who she meets 1.5kg better off. Did win the Gr 2 Phar Lap the start prior. Probabl;y drops back to near last early but can come home hard. Place.

Is a Gr 1 winner this trip beating the superstar Aeliana last Nov in Melb. However, in 4 starts since then, hasn’t won and best was beaten 6 lengthys by Grinzinger Belle this trip. Not keen.
