Gr 1 Inglis Sires’

Was last start’s 3rd in the Gr 1 Golden Slipper an anomaly or were there excuses? Probably the latter. Missed the kick by a length then mustered hard and stayed on the slowest part of the track, but the slight concern is that he was gone with 75m to go when Lady Of camelot stormed past him. Was that because the trip found him out, if so this will test late? Hard to see where he gets to in the run from here but he may be wide if slow out again and that wont help either. Being on his home track, will, however. Big show.

The whispers from Victoria always said this bloke was extra good and to them his exceptional 2nd in the Gr 1 Golden Slipper over 1200m behind Lady of camelt was first class. He was three-wide all the way and was very tough late. If he runs like that he nearly wins this. seems to be very good and talented and is thriving in sydney. big show.

Won the Victorian version of this race very easily, then came back 200m and flew up to Sydney before running on into 4th in the Gr 1 Golden Slipper. Surely this trip suits more and he’s proven he can run with this level. Must be strongly fancied as he will get the run of the race.

Ran 13th in the Gr 1 Slipper. Was beaten over 5 lengths and that doesn’t read well for this. But, he copped a chequered run down the straight and should have run about 5th. May sneak a place here at huge odds.

Quick back-up here after his gut-busting run when beaten a nose over 1400m in gr 3 last week. Is on his home track and has never missed a place in 4 starts to date. Probably leads these and will be boxing on.

Easily won maiden at Newcastle last start. That doesn’t read well for this but had run a close-up 6th in the Gr 1 Blue Diamond at the start prior. Grafts it out and is tough but this may test.

Maiden galloper after 6 starts and should still be one when this finishes. Beaten over 5 lengths in the Sires’ in Vic last start by Traffic warden.

maiden with talent. Ran home strongly when 3rd to Storm boy and prost over 1200m in fast run Gr 2 Skyline. Disappointed last start on wet track. Bred to run this out stoutly.

Got a mile back and in fact was 2nd last for home in the gr 1 Golden Slipper but just kept coming and was breaten just over 2 lengths in that race behind lady of camelot. This should suit a lot more as she can sit closer in the run. is trained here and is extremely good. big chance. loves it wet too.
