Is ready. He has great stats this trip and despite the big weight, he still can run time and the time he can run is good enough to win this. Is 4th up here after some solid hard-finishing efforts in WFA races. Did win 4th up last prep and must be in your numbers.

Has grown a leg since coming into Bjorn Baker’s stable and although not well weighted he must be respected. His last start win was very impressive. Is 2nd up and goes well end up.

Never underestimate this bloke in big races. has woeful form leading into the Gr 1 Stradbroke yet sprouted wings late to grab 2nd. He is 3rd up here and although both starts have been unplaced, he did hit the line well. Tough race but he is too good to totally overlook.

Touted as a superstar and if she wins this she will be a short-priced fav to take out the coveted Gr 1 WFA King Charles. Has raced 5 times and won all 5 and gives the impression she wants this trip. Despite all that, she has drawn wide and hasn’r raced against horses of this calibre. But, stars are made with 54.5kg and she has that weight. Looms large.

This is the knock-out horse. He is a Kiwi with very good stats and loves this journey. Will get back but has finishing power. I think you really need to have him in your numbers.

Gr 1 stayer who has enormous talent. Is 2nd up here and likely to sprint well fresh with this lightweight. Should get good cover from the get-go and can hit the line well. Place.

Always a threat in these big races. Only won 2 races in his life but is Gr 1 placed and on his day can rocket home. Goes very well for Reece Jones who rides him here and is a Gr 1 big mile placegetter.

Is 2nd up here and looms large as he was a winner when 2nd up last prep. Gets in here with a light weight and can turn it on when right. Good 4th in lead-up race when resuming last start behind Autumn Glow and meets her 3kg better. Place show.

Solid campaigner who is very honest and runs through the line well. This is a step up, though, and was only 3rd with a light weight in a weaker Gr 3 last start. Not keen.

Hmmm! Has the talent and on weights he is in beautifully. But, his two starts this campaign have been handy without flattering. Does like this trip and is a Gr 1 placegetter. Is 3rd up so is cherry ripe and I think he’s worth one more chance.

Lightweight who likes to get along in front and that should make it a real contest. As for him, well, home track here but he may find some of these bona fide Gr 1 stars too strong late.

Good, solid honest mare who gets back. Runs on well and was Gr 3 placed last start but this is a bridge too far.

Not keen. Carried 60kg to win BM 78 in good time 2 starts back but unplaced at Newcastle last start in weaker race.

Kiwi who has been racing in much easier races and this looks beyond him.
