Gr 1 – Coolmore Classic

Top class mare who rattled home when resuming and 2nd last start. Loves this trip, is trained here, Jay mac on top but…she has the big weight. Did win a stakes race when 2nd up last prep and is very honest.

Is all class and the model of consistency. Is a Gr 1 winner over 1400m. Has had 2 great runs since resuming, latest when lumping 59kg into 2nd spot behind Verona Rose who carried 3kg less than her in the Gr 2 Guy Walter. Will be on speed and is very fit. Likes it damp too. Big show.

Is very smart and has great form against different horses from the spring last year. Resumes here which is a worry although she goes well fresh and has won first up. Performs very well on soft tracks. Recent trial was excellent. Certainly have in your numbers.

Looks one of the hardest to bat. Is racing in tip top form beating Manaal last start over 1400m running her down late. Extra trip suits this mare more. Only goes up 1kg for that stakes win. Craig Williams rides and he has an impeccable winning record on her. Have in your numbers.

Good mare who is getting better as she races and ages. Resumed from a spell and charged home from the back when 3rd to Verona Rose over 1400m. Meets that mare, who is a great chance in this, 1.5kg better. Has nice 2nd up stats. Should love this journey but gets back and will need luck late. Place.

Interesting galloper and where does she get in the run from here? Likes to settle back normally but last start was ridden on pace when a gallant 3rd to the great Tempted and Savvy Hallie in fast run Gr 1 Surround Stakes over 1400m. That should top her off perfectly for this and she is a Gr 1 winner over a mile. Will rightfully so have a lot of admirers. If she finds luck in the run she can win.

Is all class and heart. Bad draw here though. Also, has never raced this far but saying that she was ultra impressive and strong when beaten a head by the star Tempted over 1400m. May have to travel a little deep here but will give it her all.

Is the definition of consistency winning 4 of last 5 starts, latest at Gr 2 level in the Millie Fox over 1400m where she raced on pace and beat Lazzura. Howe high can she go? No ceiling cap on this filly who just keeps racing brilliantly. Drawn nicely and probably sits 3td to the bend. Must be in the finish.

Has not won for a good while. Gets back and has to weave between runners. Saying that, was ridden by same jock here, Tyler Schiller when flying home for 2nd behind the smart lady Shenandoah in this race last start. Is she as good now? Hmmm, but her first up 6th in the Gr 2 Guy Walter behind Verona Rose was sound. She was on the slow part of the track and was beaten just on 2 lengths. Meets them all a few kilos better here too. May be the knock out at big odds.

Will probably get overlooked by most punters but she has claims. Is 2nd up here after a strong stakes placing at Newcastle in handy 1400m time. Has good 2nd up stats and has drawn well. May rattle into a place at big odds.

Is a stayer and a good stayer at that, Has won over 2200m in the Qld Oaks at Gr 1 level, but at this level this appears too short. Will run on but should be too far back as they turn.

Respect her. Drops 4kg where as the others don’t on her fast finishing 4th to Verona Rose over 1400m last start on slow part of the track. Is 2nd up here and won 2nd up last prep over a mile in fast time. Is on home track here and should rush home at big odds.

Has talent and has been up a long while but may be just starting to go off. Was weak last start and this is harder.

Is handy and is weighted well. Has a good gate too so should get a nice run but this is a strong race. Place at very best, even better if track is wet.
