Top class galloper up from Melbourne where he chased home the great Mr Brightside twice in Gr 1 races. Super fit now and although he probably gets back, he can really charge late. the pace here will be extreme so that helps his hopes.

Didn’t lead last start under his big weight and that may have turned him off in the run as he didn’t run up to his best form. This is harder but if he finds the front, and with the quick back-up, he may just lead these a merry chase all the way.

Good handicap horse getting ready for the Gr 1 Doncaster and these will run him off his legs.

Brilliantly fast but if he goes too hard here he will get smashed. And he may find competition on the front end with Coal Crusher who looks certain to drive forward. Can’t beat these over this trip but will ensure the race is run honestly and at a fast tempo.

Has the ability to win. Doesn’t always produce her best and has a habit of finding trouble at crucial stages too, but, on her day she is massively talented and can run astonishing times. Last start resumed from a spell over unsuitable 1000m and came at superstars Imperatriz and Private Eye hard late, failing by just 3/4 length. Much better suited this trip and is the obvious danger.

Is a bit of a dark horse here as she is extremely consistent, is in career-best form and recently ran a stunning 1:08.74 for 1200m which makes her a threat. Did lead and get run down this trip last start though in easier race. Place.
