Gr 1 – Canterbury Stakes

Tremendous run when resuming and 4th in the Gr 1 won by Fangirl. He finished alongside Via Sistina and we saw her frank the form with a game win in the Gr 1 last week. Has had a minor set back but is ready to fire up. Will get back and run home hard.

Just keeps getting better and better with racing culminating in a stunning Gr 1 win in astonishing time last start. Has won 4 of past 5 starts. Nowadays looks well up to this and rates highly.

Mixes his form a bit but capable on his day. Last win was in Oct last year when at $41 he claimed a Gr 2 here on a soft track. This may be a little too tough though.

Failed to fire a stud so was gelded and returned to the track. Trialled very well and looks in great nick. If he is anywhere near his best he looks one of the hardest to beat.

Was there to win when they turned for home last start when resuming but just failed to quicken and was beaten 3 lengths by Mr Brightside. Shorter trip may be against him but if he produced his best he’s a player.

Might be the dark horse here. Resumes and goes well first-up and can run very fast time. Likes to be on pace and may well lead these while fresh. If he does he will take catching.

Is top rate on his day although didn’t seem to come up last prep when unplaced in 3 races. Can run home fast, is a 2 x Gr 1 winner this track and might surprise a few.

Ever reliable and will give your money a terrific run at great each way odds. Resumes here but is capable of reeling off fast last sectionals and could place.

Terrific mare, one of the very best in the land. Has outstanding acceleration at the end of the race at this level and is a bomb while fresh. Will make her presence felt probably despite the awkward draw.

Is back in form and has drawn well. Loves the sting out of the ground and last start proved she is ready to have a wonderful campaign. And, is even fitter now! Certain to be right in this finish.

If the best Stefi turns up she can win this. is a Gr 1 winner over 1400m and is very fast on her day at this distance range. Her stable is absolutely flying and winning everything of late so be prepared for her to run a blinder.

Super colt who, when right is better than these. Has raced twice when 2nd up and won both times. Is the runaway winner of the Gr 1 Coolmore stud stks over 1200m in breathtakingly fast time and was a great 4th when resuming behind Skybird in the 1000m Gr 1 lightning. Very, very hard to beat and has won on a soft track also.
