1. Unit Five (11)
This may be a super colt. Has raced twice, winning impressively both times. Came from midfield and under a masterful ride dashed through on the inside to race away at the Gold Coast to win the magic Millions easily. Can run this trip. Can run time and after the scratchings should find himself back about 6th to the bend with cover. Has finishing power too. Big danger.

2. Alibaba (17)
Drew wide so went back to last in the big $2million Millennium field over 1100m in Sydney last start. Weaved a run between horses in the straight, stopped in is tracks twice and still ran 3rd. Should have won by 2 lengths. Has won at this track but drawn poorly again. If he gets to the outside he can sprint home like a star and looks hardest to beat.

3. Closer To Free (9)
Super performance on debut here to be on speed all the way and out sprint rivals to win the Gr 3 Prelude over 1100m. Should strip fitter. Will be up on pace all the way and looks a tough bugger so must be considered.
-
Proven Winner
4. Big Sky (5)
Boom juvenile who is unbeaten from 2 city starts, latest when leading all the way here and easily winning the Gr 3 Chairman’s over 1000m. Drawn to be in front again but there is a lot of speed around him. Might just be a superstar but will be tested all the way given his racing pattern and has never raced this trip. Chance.

Proven Winner
5. Guest House (3)
Has raced twice, winning at Cranbourne then settling into a rhythm just off the pace when solid finishing 2nd to Closer To Free in the Prelude. Drawn to receive same run throughout and the extra 100m and more fitness are in his favour. Has claims.

Ready to Fire
6. Eternal Warrior (16)
Looks very talented but will need to drift back early from this bad gate. Has won here and ran home hard last start when fast closing 3rd to Closer To Free in the 1100m Prelude. Fitter now and will appreciate this trip but needs luck.

Ready to Fire
7. Milsons Point (10)
Handy type having his 3rd start here. Won at Pakenham impressively then ran home well from 5th on the bend when narrowly beaten by Alibaba in 1000m Preview. Will like this extra trip. Place claims.

8. Eurocanto (18)
He has talent but flopped badly last start behind Closer To Free in the Prelude. Had won at Flemington beating Streisand start prior and she is strongly fancied here. Bad draw for this bloke too so not keen.

9. Zambales (8)
Maiden galloper with talent. Brings different form lines into this after 2nd at Randwick making ground late over 1000m then on speed when 2nd to the flying Hard Kick last weekend at Flemington. Quick back up may not suit juvenile. Place at best.

10. Invincible Son (13)
Has ability as she’s shown in his 2 starts to date which resulted un placings in good races. Beaten over 3 lengths by Unit Five on debut here when 3rd then here again was a 2nd over 1000m making ground late to Big Sky. Place at best from this gate.

11. Ghana's Akan (7)
Smart filly but a maiden still after 3 runs. Beaten just under 2 lengths here in Preview over 1000m behind Rubi’s Choice then taken to Sydney and at big odds ran a great race rushing home late for 2nd to Fireball. Can sneak a place from this nice gate.

Place Performer
12. Streisand (12)
Surprised when 2nd up finishing hard to win the Prelude over 1100m in commanding fashion. Will sit back in the middle, hopefully with cover. Is professional and can home hard. Fitter now too.

Ready to Fire
13. Torture (20)
Well travelled filly who won here in October and has since been to NZ for the Karaka Millions where she finished hard for 3rd. This is harder but is tough. Draw doesn’t help though.

14. Lady Moscato (2)
Maiden after 2 starts and looks tested. Nice gate but beaten out of a place at Randwick last start.

Good on Soft
15. I Am Aria (6)
Handy filly who has raced twice, both times in stakes races, and has placed twice, latest when led and run down by Streisand in the Prelude. Lots of speed here and may get swamped late.

16. Chayan (15)
Yet another maiden. Only start was in the Gr 3 Prelude and was impressive sitting well back off speed but finishing hard for 2nd to Streisand. Should make improvements from a fitness point of view, experience too and extra trip. Could surprise at big odds.

Ready to Fire
17. Stretan Ruler (Em1) (19)
Maiden after 2 starts but is showing talent. Ran 2nd to Eternal warrior on debut here in Nov. Then, after a spell resumed and was 4th to Closer To Free in the Prelude. Harder here and bad draw so not keen.
-
Good on Soft
18. Almost An Angel (Em2) (14)
Looking for further. Won a midweek race and best stakes race was last start when making ground late but still beaten into 5th behind Streisand. Not keen.

19. Tough Romance (Em3) (4)
Probably wont get a start. Only race to date, led all way to win low key event at Pakenham. This is too hard.

20. Jacaranda (Em4) (1)
Has talent. Won on debut at Seymour by a big space then went to Sydney and solid 5th to Fireball. This is harder and probably doesn’t get a run.
