MEPUNGA MUSTANG (1) carved out some fantastic sectionals to win well last week and looks capable of holding the lead again tonight. He can space them early and hold on in the run home. AILEE BALE (8) has the speed to cross into a good spot early and can hold on for the quinella spot. The pair can space their rivals.
Wentworth Park R8 – FFA
FASCINATE MEL (1) has been racing consistently in recent weeks and has terrific box speed. She loves the inside draw and can lead all the way. LEN ME DAD (8) continues to improve and has two wins and two seconds from his last four starts. The box draw might prove the difference in a race that the pair can dominate.
Cannington R6 – G2 WA Derby
CRUMBLE MONELI (4) is the emerging star in WA chasing and has won his last four races impressively. He continues to improve and only bad luck can cost him the G2 WA Derby. CANYA CRACKEN (2) has won both of his career starts and can capitalise on any bad luck that the favourite encounters.
