Tasmanian chaser RUPEE REBEL (1) had no luck in his Warrnambool Cup heat, and you can put a line through that run on his form guide. He has built a good record at home, and this looks like a very winnable race. I expect him to fire from the gun box draw. TICK RETURNS (8) can explode early and will likely give the favourite something to catch. The pair can space their rivals.
Wentworth Park R5 - Grade 5
SAINT RICO (3) drops back in grade tonight and can find the early lead from a good box. He can lead all the way at nice odds. MY PHARAOH (8) was an all-the-way winner last start and drops back in grade. He is the obvious danger but his wide draw goes against him.
Cannington R3 - FFA
RIPPIN’ MOSES (1) grows an extra leg when drawn inside and that should prove the difference tonight. He can hold a good spot early and power home at a good quote. Ex-Victorian GIACOMO (3) is unbeaten at Mandurah and makes his Cannington debut tonight. It’s hard to judge how good he is, but he is most definitely the x-factor in the race and a danger.
