CANYA MAYHEM (4) looked as though he hadn’t missed a beat when he returned last week at Bendigo and won first-up after a 15 week break. He found the lead early and put them away with ease winning in the best time of the night (27.71). He should find the lead here and with the vacant box on his outside, he should take plenty of catching again. His danger will be INDY MELMEN (1) who won here last week, running down the smart Dewana Sizzle with ease and looks to be on an upward spiral this time in
QLD National Distance Heat 2
BEAUTIFUL CHILD (5) looks to be the next big thing of the QLD staying ranks after winning her past 2 runs here. She is generally a fast beginner and should find the lead here without too much trouble, running fast time out in front, it will take a good dog to over power her and take the win off her. That main danger will likely come from SURREALIST (2) who is having his first start over the longer trip tonight. He has been in good form over the middle distances until failing at Q1 Saturday night but he could atone without surprise.

WINSOME JET (7) missed the kick last start, got buried back in the field and worked home stylishly to go down by just under a length to Zipping Zravitz whom he meets again tonight. She has a great record when drawn off the track as he likes some room and from box seven he should get a nice cart from his nemesis of last start. I’ll include the pink dog ZIPPING URBAN (8) to be his main danger as he will get across with the two inside of him and he is usually quite strong to the wire.
