Going to give JOANNE (8) another chance to redeem herself after last week’s disappointing run in the heat of this event. Now that she has seen the track, expect a much better performance here in the final. If she can cross early, she will be very hard to catch. GOLDSTAR PRADA (4) may prove the one of her dangers at an each-way price. She starts slowly, as is her norm but loves this 642m distance having won five times in the short period of time they have raced over the trip.

In a race full of risky beginners who can produce the goods or not on any given night. Sticking with CUMBRIA JACK (5), the most consistent and possibly the best greyhound going around at the moment. Even though he has drawn the squeeze box tonight, he has tremendous track sense, and see no reason why he can’t lead this field and take plenty of catching if he finds that arm. His main danger will be GOLD FORCE (6) who can set the clock alight when on song and should get a nice cart across early from Jack.
