Greyhound Tips – Thursday 28th May

NARADHAN (1) went around a short priced favorite in his heat and was run down by his main danger again tonight in PAW QUANTUM (8). The boxes have been turned around this time which should enable Naradhan to get a clean jump and punch through early to hold the lead. If so, he should be able to put a gap on the field mid-race and run a time that can’t be beaten. The pink dog is very strong at the finish and last start, it had the perfect sit on his tail, I doubt he will be that close here and the red should be winning.

JOANNE (7) has been a revelation of late in the staying ranks in NSW after showing plenty of promise over the shorter trips. I feel she is perfectly suited to the 642m and look for her to go forward early and give them plenty to catch throughout the journey. FIRETHORN (8) returned to form last week when she ran a solid 2nd to Goldstar Prada over the 710m. I’m not too sure where she will get to from box rise but if she gets a cart across from Joanne, she should be right on her heels at the finish.

The real BLUE BLEND (1) showed up last start after a disappointing first-up performance. She sprung the lids at box rise and blitzed the opposition by 10 lengths running 24.87 her fastest time over the trip. If she reproduces that form, she will take some beating and watch the clock. Her main danger should be CANYA EXCITE ME (7) just loves an outside draw and was impressive winning a Grade 5 on Saturday night over this distance. Whether she can go with the red early will be the issue but if Blue Blend falters, she will be right in this race tonight.
