Grade 5
The run of PAW LOVISA (7) on Saturday night at The Meadows was full of merit and she should prove the one to beat over the 595m at Sandown Park. She had no luck at all in that race, but she still ground away and got the better of them over the final stages. She should be able to stay out of trouble from the wide draw and look for her to be motoring over them at the finish. FLYING PROUD (2) may be her main opposition, as she was very strong last time out, grabbing second over this trip here last week.
4th/5th Grade
CONSIGLIERE (4) is back in Melbourne after a massive Easter Egg effort finishing second in the Final to Off The Chart. Having the vacant box on his outside should suit him perfectly to be able to pounce on the arm from the gecko and be the one they will have to catch from there on. MAV RIEKO (6) had no luck in the Geelong Cup friday night after copping a squeeze early on and should be in the mix here but may be chasing second money.

TARAWI BANJO (1) looks well placed tonight after drawing his favorite box in the red. He has won 4 races from 6 starts from the draw. He can hunt up at the first corner and be extremely hard to catch. He has run 29.98 from the box and that time would see right in this, if everything goes to plan. His danger will likely be BRAX KEEPING (5) who has been around the mark of late without winning and will be the one running on late.
