VINCENT BALE (1) has been racing in great style of late and drops back in trip tonight after a 595m win last start. He looks suited from box 1 in the small field and can prove too strong for his rivals. With 8 wins from his last 10 starts, you can’t knock the form of FLYING ZULU (8) who will sit on the speed throughout. I feel that he might need to work too hard early on and be a sitting shot late. That’s why I’m taking him on.
Albion Park R5 - FFA
RED DIRT ROAD (8) has won his last 4 starts over the 710m and looks like a staying star of the future. He looks better than his rivals. It is that simple! FIRST PICKED (6) continues to race consistently and looks well placed to pick up another minor prize money cheque.
Angle Park R6 - Open
VICTA MARLI (7) put in a much improved effort when second last start and loves drawing wide. She will enjoy a nice cart into the race before powering home. VERSATILE (6) is chasing that trick of wins and is sure to set a cracking pace in the lead. The pair can space their rivals.
