Greyhound Tips – Thursday 16th October

Hoping that LAKEVIEW EMILY (3) can get back into the winners list after a slightly disappointing couple of starts up in the Million Dollar Chase series. She loves this track and trip and she should find the lure first and then they will have their work cut out to be able to run her down. She has gone sub 29 seconds which is in elite company. Her danger could be MEPUNGA TULLY (1) who is back here after a couple of hit outs after an injury but she will be getting fitter and should be competitive from the draw.

Been waiting for SUMMER QUINN (7) to get back to the middle distances and the camp have found a nice race for her here at Richmond tonight. She has been competing in classy races in The Black Top at The Gardens and then The Million Dollar Chase series at Wentworth Park and she hasn’t had a great deal of luck in any of those events. She is likely to find the lead and she should be running time giving her opposition something to catch. OZZIE NICK (2) who has been performing well over the middle distances of late,should be able to figure in the placings behind our top selection.

Should be able to start the night off on a winning note with JUNIPER ROSE (8) in the first heat of this year’s Futurity. She has been racing in solid form of late with two wins on the trot and generally likes clear air so will get that drawn in the pink here. Look for her to be staying out wide early and crossing them coming into that first corner. From there she should prove hard to get by. Her danger may come from the last start winner in GOT THIS GIRLS (6) who won here Saturday night and has put together five wins out of seven starts and 3 wins at the track.
