Greyhound Tips – Thursday 11th September

Grades 4 & 5

Q2 PARKLANDS Race 6 (520m) 8:25 pm

SIMULATE (1) is coming back in trip tonight from the 550 and 600m races she has been performing at recently but she is good enough to hold a position at the first corner and that may allow her to prove a little too strong for them once they straighten for home and she will be extremely hard to beat. Her danger could come from BLUEY IS BOUJEE (7) who is generally a good breaker and has won from outside draws previously. She could be the one to find the lead early and then it will be up to our selection to chase her down.

Mixed 4/5

SANDOWN PARK Race 5 (595m) 8:19 pm

TURN THE TIDE (1) looks very well placed after drawing perfectly in the red box for this assignment. Last weekend she landed on the lure at The Meadows and held Valenzuela off over the 600m easily. She should pounce on the arm and I can’t see why she wont run away with this race too. Her danger may come from the dog outside of her in PEAKY JOE (2), who ran second last week to the up and coming staying star in Canya Erupt, albeit was well beaten. Should race on pace and will be all the better for that first run over the trip.

SA Oaks Heat 1

ANGLE PARK Race 3 (530m) 7:55 pm

MEPUNGA SAGE (8) looks the one to beat in the first heat of the Oaks. She chased down Brother Bilo last week and raced quite wide around the track. Does appear suited by the pink box and should be able to work her way around them at the first corner and should be far too strong for them in the run home. Her danger could be in the red box in TALBOT ROAD (1) who is a risky beginner but does have plenty of ability. Is suited by the inside draw.
