TENNESSEE KADE (1) got the chocolates again for us last week and I’m happy to butter up again to extend his winning streak to five on the trot. He was only fair to jump last week and had plenty of chasing to do to get over the top of Canya Handle It but once he found clear air down the back, he wound up nicely and had the race in his keeping over the final stages. He still ran a nice time of 29.56 coming from behind. Although it is a tougher assignment tonight, I still feel he is going well enough to win again. His danger will be FEARLESS BANDIT (3) who broke back into the winners list last start and will give 100% as he does each week.
Grade 5
UNIQUE STAR (1) looks ideally boxed here in the cherry in this middle-distance event at The Meadows tonight. He has won previously here in a smart 34.45, and although he is not a brilliant beginner, he should be able to hold up early and work through his gears to put a gap on them in the front straight. In the small field he will look the winner and hopefully hold off any challengers. The danger could be DEEP STATE (8) who enjoys being boxed out wide and will be running home solidly late.
Masters
BONNIE IS BOUJEE (6) looks well placed here tonight with the vacant box on her inside and she always gives you a run for your money. She looks like the leader of this race and has run a solid 25.22 which is quicker than her rivals. If she gets on the arm, she will take plenty of catching. Her likely danger could come from the red dog, KILL YOUR SMILE (1) who has not missed a place in his 4 starts over the journey.
