In a very open affair, the stayers event of the night, expect SCOTCH TIME (6) to break back into the winners kennel after being around the mark at his past few at Sandown Park and at The Meadows. He has only won five races in his career but he just runs on all day and if the breaks go his way, he can certainly get win number 6 on the board. He will be each-way odds and is worth a play. His danger may come from the last start winner in PAYBACK (7) who rounded them up last week and won well. He usually needs some luck in running but is another who will see out the trip.
Non Graded 1-4
PAW OSWALD (1) looks extremely well suited in this Non-Graded event at Wentworth Park tonight. He thrives from a red box, only missing a place twice in 11 starts. He should be able to land on the lure at box rise and will be running time if allowed to dictate out in front. His danger will come from TRIO OF CLOWNS (4) who has been racing in fine fashion of late winning a heat of the Black Opal at The Gardens and then midfield in the final last weekend.
Million Dollar Chase Qualifier Heat 4
DEADLY AVENGER (1) is having his first run at Wentworth Park tonight but has found a very nice heat of the Million Dollar chase to start that journey off. He has won three times from the red box and can run scintillating times once he sees open air. Has run the hands off the clock at Cannington and Sandown Park at recent starts and should take a power of beating. TRUNKEY CHIEF (6) ran a solid race behind Cumbria Jack last week and if he can repeat that effort, he will be challenging again.
