Greyhound Tips – Saturday 2nd May

Sticking with our on-topper from last week REBORN HOSTILITY (1) who won her heat in scintillating fashion, and there is no reason she cannot put two wins on the trot. She’s a mad-railer and even if she misses the kick, she’ll be on the leaders’ heels by the first corner. It will take a very strong one to hold her off if she lands that close. As a roughie ZIPPING ARIEL (6) looks her danger. She worked home nicely first-up after a break and if anything goes astray with the inside runners, she will certainly be there at the finish. 

It’s hard to find a greyhound currently experiencing worse luck in the run than WINSOME JET (3). He always tends to find trouble in his races and seems to carry a “back me next time” tag. Tonight he looks set to get every advantage in the run. The red and stripe dogs are smart beginners, and he should get the perfect cart at the first corner and when they run wide down the back, Winsome Jet should be flying through. Hopefully it pans out this way tonight. His danger will be TAW MAJOR (1) who is drawn to win and will start as the favorite, although he will give our tip a good shot at beating him mid-race.

CONSIGLIERE (7) looks to have drawn the perfect box tonight to add another win to his growing list. He is a good beginner, likely to challenge PAW OSWALD (6) who is expected to set the early pace and is his main rival tonight. Consigliere should get a nice cart right across early on and he should prove too slick and strong for Paw Oswald over the final stages of the race.
