Greyhound Tips – Saturday 28th March

In this ripping edition of the Dubbo Country Classic final, we have Group 1 winners scattered throughout the field. I’m looking for some value here as this race has thrown up a variety of results over the years. I thought that TANK KEEPING (3) having drawn inside the favorite in WITHOUT A TRACE (4), could give her a run for her money. If Tank can step and hold out the favorite in the blue, he can lead through the first part of the race and may just be too quick as he showed when winning at Richmond recently. Without A Trace is the obvious danger but she is better suited over further ground, so I’m tipping an upset tonight at odds.

CUMBRIA JACK (2) looks to start off this Golden Easter Egg campaign on a high note, drawing perfectly in the stripe box where he has won 4 times from. At times he can begin like a rocket. If he leads that 29 second clock may be in danger. His main danger may come from BLACK MYTH WAVE (4) who has been in sparkling form lately. If anything goes astray with Jack he will be in the race.

TEXAS PRESIDENT (1)  is back home after a successful campaign at Cannington where he got the cash last start over the 715m. From the red box he should be able to burrow through early, lead this field and quickly establish a big lead that carries him to victory. His main danger will likely come from SLICK NITRO (3), an up & coming stayer that generally starts slowly but she finishes the second part of the race very strongly.
