EUREKA MAC (1) looks very well placed after drawing the red box. His best performances have all been from inside draws and although he can be a risky beginner, he has the ability to kick up early on and either lead them at the first corner or stay right on their heels. Has run a quick 29.62 around here and that would be quick enough to get away with this race. His danger, PRIM AND PETTY(2) won here last start from the cherry and should be right in the mix again.
Final
ZAP DEVERE (4) looked very smart last week winning his heat in 34.68 after finding the arm early on. There is a lack of pace on his outside in this race, so if he can jump on terms with them, he should get a clear passage to the first corner to either lead or land behind his danger in the cherry UNIQUE STAR (1). He also landed on the lure last week and ran a slightly quicker time but Zap Devere is very strong to the line and if they pull clear down the back, they should fight it out.
Young Gunners Heat 1
SHOWMAN BAZ (1) is a promising pup on the way up for Michelle Sultana. He has won his last three in a row and has been showing tremendous acceleration once balanced. Starting from the coveted red box, he will be very hard to stop in the first heat of the Young Gunners tonight if he jumps with them. His danger appears to be ZIPPING KRAVITZ (2) who is drawn outside of him and is a very consistent dog going places too.
