5th Grade
Although TARAWI SUSHI (2) has yet to break her duck at Wentworth Park, her run last week at Richmond, where she got over the top of the speedy Domineering after camping on his back and proving too strong in the run home, was full of merit. I feel she will do the same here and sit off the likely leader, DARK NOISE (1) who has nice early speed and a favorable best time of 29.42 but could struggle to run out a strong 520m with Sushi on her heels.

HOUSE OF SINS (4) has really found form lately. He was enormous when he stormed home three runs back over the short at Sandown behind Dapper Chap and then he went up in trip at Ballarat & here at The Meadows in his last two and blitzed his rivals. He steps up in class here but the way he is going at the moment, he will take plenty of holding off at the finish. The very smart VISTA WEIRD (3) should be his main danger. If he finds the arm early, he will be the one House of Sins has to catch but I am confident he will do so.
Masters
FADE TO BLACK (6) bolted in last weekend here in his second run in Masters grade by an ever widening margin of 11.5 lengths. The time said it all even after some trouble behind him, he ran a best of the night 25.16 which would compete with open-class times. He has been a very classy Victorian conveyance over the past couple of years over the middle & staying trips and he is proving he will be very hard to stop now that he is competing against greyhounds of his own age. His danger should be BAD AND BERTHA (2) who has placed in her past couple after a win here three starts back in 25.55.
