Greyhound Tips – Saturday 13th June

DEADLY AVENGER (4) has run into Dewana Star in his past couple of runs in the Group 1 Harrison Dawson and Shepparton Cup, and although beaten into the placings, he hasn’t let his supporters down at all. From the draw, he should be able to find the arm and be difficult to catch in what appears to be a much easier race tonight. WHISPERED (2) could give Avenger a run for his money early on as he can get out of the boxes well at times but I feel he will be chasing his tail down the back straight to the line.

GREAT CHAT (5) has not broken his duck here at Wentworth Park as yet but tonight could be the night. He is racing in fantastic form at Gosford and Richmond of late and only needs to nail the start here to be the one they have to beat. His danger could prove to be the dog drawn inside of him in RISE UP NISMO (4) who is a safe beginner and could bring our top pick across with him early.

UNLEASHED IN MIAMI (5) pinged the lids a few weeks back here and won a similar grade race in 29.63 beating Sammy Ethan who has been in sensational form of late. There doesn’t appear to be much speed in this race, and if the yellow dog gets the start right, he should lead them on his ear and be the one to catch. Most of his rivals have been struggling of late to break the 30-second mark, so the only other one that has, ZIPPING HOPKINS (2) looms as his main danger. Not the quickest beginner, but he does race well here.
