BACK TOMORROW (1) has won her past two runs here brilliantly and from the coveted red box too. She found the arm early and ran them into the ground on both occasions running 29.54 and 29.59. If she lands on top again and runs that time, they will have their work cut out catching her. Her main danger appears to be the Goulburn Cup winner in TAW GALAXY (6) who himself has put two wins together. He may not find the lead but is suited out wide and will be finding the line late.
Paul Wheeler Heat 6
PAW OSWALD (4) is coming up north after racing in the Melbourne Cup series and is off a smart win at The Meadows last weekend when he broke 30 seconds. Is usually a great breaker and should either lead or sit land outside the very quick Speedy Pie. He is all class and has won here previously on five occasions so the track is no fear to him. His logical danger is HE’S A PEARL (8) who has strung a couple together at Richmond and Wentworth Park over recent weeks. With any luck in running he should be in the finish.
Silver Chief Heat 2
DEWANA STAR (2) showed last week he is a top line pup on the rise with his first victory at the Meadows breaking the 30 second mark and winning convincingly. He should find the arm from this low draw again and I would expect him to run quicker now he has seen the track. He should prove to be the one they have to catch again. His danger will be WHISKEY WHISKERS (7) who would prefer an inside box but he has plenty of talent as was shown by beating Daysea’s Rory a few runs back.
