Greyhound Tips – Million Dollar Chase Final preview

Magic Million Chase Final

Wentworth Park Race 8 (520m) 9:22 pm

1- Foreign Capital
Was a boil-over winner last week in the heats when he came from near last at the halfway mark and railed the ears off them at the corner, to get up in the final stages. Has a fantastic red box strike rate and although is going around at double figure odds, can definitely run into the placings without any surprise.
2- Eliza Sparkles
This lightly raced pup is only having her 15th start tonight but has taken all before her over recent weeks. She won the Dapto Megastar a few runs ago and last week in her semi final, she jumped on the lure and ran 29.17 in the best of the night time. She is unbeaten from the stripe box and will prove extremely hard to run down if she lands in front.
3- My Boy Bingo
Sensationally overturned the series favorite in Cumbria Jack last week in the semi final but deserved the win well and truly, running 29.33. He has only had the two runs at the track for two wins and showed plenty of fight to hold Jack off last week. Is usually a good breaker who will be pushing the stripe early and can run a bold race again.
4- Canya Sapphire
She is from the Jason Magri kennel and she jumped nicely from the pink in her semi final last week and found the rail at the first corner to hold them all off at the line in a time of 29.59. She is a risky beginner who is not well drawn in the blue but if she gets the start right, she can give them a fright.
5- Power And Glory
The winner of this year’s Golden Easter Egg Final, this boy will likely start favorite for this edition of the Million Dollar Chase final. He can be hit or miss at the start but has won two from two from the yellow rug and if he jumps like he did in that Egg final and accelerates as he can do, he should take a power of holding off at the business end of the race.
6- Daysea’s Rory
This pup has been in fantastic form winning the heat and semi final of the Grafton division of this Chase series and then came to headquarters in the semi last week and raced wide throughout and still proved too strong for them at the line winning in 29.53. Has a good record from the draw but he will need some luck in running to match it with some of the other pups in this.
7- Smooth Plane
This Victorian is a marvel of a greyhound, he has traveled the countryside over the past year & raced in numerous Group 1 finals. He is perfectly boxed out here in the black box as he is a very smart dog who just seems to find the right run when it just doesn’t seem to be there. Last week he looked in massive trouble but again weaved a passage to win his semi final in 29.65. Has definite each-way claims.
8- Zipping Ariel
Looks suited from the outside pink box tonight after saluting in fine fashion last week in 29.44. She jumped well last week and drifted up the track early but she held them all off to win well. Hasn’t won from the draw in her three attempts from out there but see no reason why it shouldn’t suit her style of racing and furthermore may get a cart across. One to consider at a price.
9- Both Bowers Ace
The veteran of the race who has been racing very consistently over recent times and if he does gain a run and draws an inside marble, he will give them plenty to think about in the run. Last week he chased Eriza Sparkles home, beaten 2.75L at the finish but he just keeps on keeping on at the finish.
10- Cumbria Jack
Was favorite for this event coming into the semis but just couldn’t get the job done last week when he got held up at a crucial point of the race and failed to pick up My Boy Bingo, who did everything right in the run. He is this year’s winner of the National Sprint Title and will give them a run for their money and be extremely hard to beat, if he somehow does gain a run at the last moment.
Summary
Tipping ERIZA SPARKLES (2) on top who should find the lure first and she will give them plenty to catch after that blistering run in her semi final last week. POWER AND GLORY (5) will likely prove the hardest to beat and if he finds clear air early, he will take plenty of holding off at the finish. Definitely throw in the red and black dogs in the exotics, as they look to be well suited with their box draws.
