Sale Cup winner TROOPER TEARS (2) had no luck last week and boxed on OK for 2nd without threatening the winner. He will be firm to the line, and as the quality runner in the race, I’m giving him another chance. HECTOR FAWLEY (6) pinged the lids and stayed out of trouble in a messy race last week when leading all the way. His best is outstanding. Can he produce it two weeks in a row?
Angle Park R6 - SA Distance Championship
SPRINGVALE BRAY (7) went down narrowly last week and looks capable of finding the early lead in tonight’s final. He will give a great sight and is the one to catch. LINKIN GIRL (8) relished the step up to 730m last week when finishing strongly to win and will power to the line once again. She will be hard to hold out with luck in running.
Angle Park R8 - Anniversary Cup
MORTON (1) continues to race well with 4 wins from his last 5 runs with his only defeat a fast finishing 2nd in the Group 1 Perth Cup. Drawn perfectly on box 1, he ticks all the boxes. SCHILLACI (2) returned to form with an all-the-way win last week and has a better than 50% strike rate at the track. With good early burn he can cause an upset. Can he find the early lead?
