BUN STORM (2) has won 3 of her last 4 including a 4+ length win in her heat last week from box 1. With a slow beginner to her inside she can find the front and lead all the way. MISS ENVY (5) is the best dog in the race and comes into tonight’s final as the fastest qualifier. If she gets clear running she wins, but from box 5 I’m taking her on!
Hobart R8 - G1 Hobart Thousand
Victorian chaser FLYING ZULU (7) proved himself to be a great traveller when he won the Group 1 Brisbane Cup earlier this year and he was good at his Hobart debut last week. He will improve on that effort in tonight’s final and looks well-placed. HOTEL WHSKY ONE (6) is the fastest qualifier and looks likely to lead for a long way. He will be the one to catch.

The queen of Queensland stayers, VALPOLICELLA (1) has returned to form in recent weeks, winning her last two starts by a combined margin of 15+ lengths. She has won 15 from 24 over the 710m and her class will get her over the line. HARA’S LUNA (3) won 4 of her last 5 and looks an emerging staying star. She can lead and run well at her first FFA attempt.
