BINNY DOO (8) had no luck last week when he spent most of the race climbing over the back of the leader and eventual winner. He is very consistent and with clear running can make amends for last week’s disappointment. I’M OLD SCHOOL (1) led all the way from box 1 last week and is drawn to give his backers a great sight again tonight.
Angle Park R4 - Grade 5
Ex-Victorian chaser HOT LIPS (5) has won both of her Angle Park runs including a 7+ length win earlier this month. She should find a good spot in the run and prove too good in the run home. SPRINGVALE RITA (4) drops back in trip and will get the last shot at her rivals. She is the danger.
Sandown Park R7 - Cranbourne Cup Heat 3
VINCENT BALE (1) held the lead from 1 last week and was never headed, recording an impressive win. He should have no problem bringing up his 6th track and distance win. BAGMAN (4) has won 6 of his last 8 and will finish strongly with luck in running. He is the x-factor from the awkward draw.
