Sandown Park R5 - Restricted Win
LOTTIE INTENT (2) has finished second in her last three runs and should be reaching peak fitness. She has the speed to find the early lead and is the one to catch. CAWBOURNE DOMINO (7) was strong to the line last week when chasing LOTTIE INTENT down and will once again jump as favourite. However he may need to do too much work from box 7 this week and for that reason I’m tipping a minor upset. The pair can space the rest of the field.
Angle Park R6 - Special Event
FOOTROT FENDER (2) has begun his career in great style with five wins from ten starts and faces his biggest test tonight. With good box manners and a great draw he can find the early lead and is the clear top pick. WHO KNOWS DARREN (7) has had excuses at his last couple of starts and is capable of stepping well and pouring on the early pressure. He is the danger in a race lacking depth.
Albion Park R8 - G3 Tiggerlong Tonk @ Stud
MRS MUSGRAVE (1) has won four from seven at the track and trip and is the only chaser in the race to have broken 30 seconds here. She will need a touch of luck in the middle part of the race when looking for a run but is a great price. NSW visitor OVERFLOW BEAU (8) won well on his Albion Park debut last week and can ping the lids. He will be hard to catch if he can cross, but box 8 looks a challenge.
