ETHANOL WATER (3) had zero luck when well back at Group 1 level last start, but was good enough to win by 6 lengths at the start prior. His best looks better than his rivals and he is ready for the 710m trip. With even luck he wins. PASS MARK (2) looks the early leader and was an all the way FFA winner recently. He will make his own luck in the lead and is the danger.

The well-travelled MORTON (3) is one of the best chasers in the land and loves Albion Park where he has 4 wins and 3 placings from 7 attempts. He hasn’t raced since falling in the Group 3 Silver Bullet at the Meadows in November but is with a leading kennel and can fire first up. Ex-Victorian DEADLY AVENGER (2) has moved to the powerful Tzouvelis yard and was a length off a Group 1 win last month. He is the danger.

This looks like the best race of the night. Veteran MAGISTRATE (2) continues to race well and is likely to set the early speed with airborne visitor VINCENT BALE (6). MORE THAN MONEY (1) ran home strongly to win well last time and will enjoy a good run behind the early speed. He can power past them.
