Racing writer, JUSTIN DEVINE, looks at tonight’s meetings and singles out his best greyhound racing tips for tonight’s Ballarat, Wentworth Park and Rockhampton meetings. Good luck, punters!
Ballarat R8 – Mixed 4/5 460m
HAZEY TOY (6) was a brilliant all the way winner when resuming from a spell over 400m at Warragul last week and will strip fitter for the run. He has enough speed to find the lead tonight and they won’t catch him. ROBBIE ROTTEN (8) was good enough to win four in a row at Maitland earlier this year and makes his Victorian debut. He has plenty of talent and is the knockout chance.
Tip: HAZEY ROY @ $2.40
Wentworth Park R8 – Grade 5 520m
IVY CONNIVING (1) has won two of her last three over the 400m and steps up to the 520m at Wenty tonight, a distance she has won over seven times before. Drawn perfectly in box 1 she should have no problems holding the lead and getting the prize. RITZA SKYAL (4) is yet to miss a placing in her four career runs and is a likely improver. The pair can battle out the finish.
Tip: IVY CONNIVING @ $1.95
Rockhampton R8 – FFA 510m
LOVE YOU PEACHES (3) was narrowly defeated last week over the 407m and looks well placed over the 510m tonight. She looks the likely leader and will be hard to catch. BARCIA BULLET (3) will get back in the run and look to close strongly. She will be hard to hold out with luck in running.
Tip: LOVE YOU PEACHES @ $2.80
